Luke Littler Claims Second Premier League Weekly Win of the Season
Luke Littler delivered a remarkable comeback from 5-0 down to defeat Gerwyn Price and secure victory in week seven of the Premier League Darts held in Dublin.
Price, who had previously triumphed in Dublin last year, started strongly and quickly established a commanding lead. However, despite his dominance, he failed to capitalize on multiple opportunities to close out the match as the world champion mounted a fierce rally.
After Price missed five darts to win the match, Littler responded by winning six consecutive legs, securing his second weekly victory of the season.
The 19-year-old’s win reduced the gap to league leader Jonny Clayton to just three points following an exhilarating evening of Premier League action featuring several standout performances.
Earlier in the night, Littler had edged out Michael van Gerwen in a thrilling 6-5 encounter that featured two maximum 170 finishes. Meanwhile, Price had demonstrated clinical form in earlier matches, whitewashing Josh Rock 6-0 and then delivering a dominant 6-1 victory over defending Premier League champion Luke Humphries.
Nevertheless, Price’s form faltered at the crucial moment when he required just one more double to complete what had been an otherwise commanding display.

Premier League Darts Format and Points System
The Premier League Darts competition consists of 16 initial weeks during the league stage, followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final each night.
Each of the eight players is guaranteed to face the other seven in the quarter-finals during weeks one to seven and nine to fifteen. Weeks eight and sixteen feature fixtures determined off the table. This scheduling ensures a fourth versus fifth matchup in Sheffield on the final league-stage night, with play-off positions potentially at stake.
Players earn two points for each quarter-final win, an additional point for a semi-final victory, and five points for winning the night.
The top four players after the group stage advance to the play-off night at London’s O2 Arena on 23 May. The semi-finals are contested as best-of-19-leg matches, with first facing fourth and second playing third. The final is played as a best-of-21-leg match.
If players are tied on points after 16 weeks, rankings are determined first by nights won, then by matches won.
