Justin Rose's Performance with New McLaren Clubs
England's Justin Rose concluded the Cadillac Championship in a tie for 65th place, finishing two over par in his debut tournament using clubs manufactured by McLaren. Rose, who won at Torrey Pines in February and tied for third at the Masters last month, shot a four-under 68 on Sunday at Doral's Blue Monster Course after being six over par through the first three rounds.
Rose recently signed with McLaren, becoming their first professional golfer on the PGA Tour. Prior to this, he had been without a club manufacturer deal since leaving Honma in 2020.
Championship Outcome and Other Notable Performances
The Cadillac Championship in Miami was won by American Cameron Young, who finished at 19 under par, six shots ahead of fellow American Scottie Scheffler. Young's victory marked his third win on the PGA Tour and was secured in front of US President Donald Trump.
World number one Scheffler has now finished as runner-up in three consecutive tournaments, including the Masters. Another American, Ben Griffin, finished one stroke behind Scheffler in third place. England's Alex Fitzpatrick shared ninth place at nine under par.
