"I think it's just a great challenge for us," Parkinson said. "We want to keep the dream alive as long as we can and Oxford is the next challenge."

Currently, Wrexham sit seventh in the Championship table, trailing Hull City by two points. Hull occupies the final play-off spot. Both teams have three matches remaining in the season. On Tuesday evening, Wrexham will face Oxford United, while Hull City will play Leicester City.

Recent Form and Upcoming Matches

Wrexham ended a run of three games without a win by defeating Stoke City 2-0 last Saturday, which helped revive their play-off bid. Meanwhile, Hull City drew 1-1 at home against Birmingham City and will face a relegation-threatened side on Tuesday.

"I think it's great to be involved at this end of the table," Parkinson added. "You look at some of the games over the weekend, the pressure of the games down the bottom and how tough those matches are. It's great not to be in that situation and where we are, and like I said, we've got to just enjoy this, and continuation from the weekend."

Reflection on the Season's Progress

Parkinson also commented on how quickly the season has progressed since January.

"I think after January when the transfer window closed, the season just seems to slip away so quickly and we find ourselves with three games to go," Parkinson said. "The aim was to get to this stage where the season is still alive and we've done that and now we go down to Oxford tomorrow."
