Born in Llantrisant, Farrell developed her skills in the academies of Manchester United and Manchester City during her youth. She has also played for Burnley, Halifax, and Stockport throughout her career.

"It was an amazing experience to be part of the Wales senior squad and something that I'm very proud of," Farrell said.
"It would be amazing to receive another call-up and I think it would be a great thing for Wrexham too. I'm really excited to be joining such a big club."

Farrell joins a Wrexham squad that is preparing for the UEFA Women's Champions League first qualifying round. The team is set to face Armenian club Pyunik on 22 July.
