Snoop Dogg to Attend Swansea Game for the First Time
Swansea City co-owner and American rapper Snoop Dogg is set to attend one of the Championship club's matches for the first time when Swansea face Preston North End on Tuesday, 24 February at 19:45 GMT.
Snoop Dogg became an investor in Swansea last July and expressed his ambition last month to help the Welsh club become a "global name." He will make his long-awaited debut appearance at a Swansea fixture as Vitor Matos' team host Preston.
The 54-year-old is currently in Europe for the Winter Olympics, which conclude on 22 February. He is accompanying Team USA at the Games in Italy, serving as a hype man and 'honorary coach.'
Swansea City have consistently stated that Snoop Dogg would visit during the season following his investment, which followed that of Real Madrid legend Luka Modric, who also became a co-owner of the club. Since then, the club has welcomed a third celebrity investor, billionaire American businesswoman Martha Stewart, a friend of Snoop Dogg, who joined in December.
