Seahawks Secure Second Super Bowl Victory

The Seattle Seahawks have captured their second Super Bowl title, their first having been won in 2014.

The Seahawks delivered a commanding defensive performance to overcome the New England Patriots in the championship game.

On Sunday at Levi's Stadium, two of the NFL's top defensive teams faced off, with Seattle decisively winning 29-13.

This game featured a historic defensive effort, highlighted by British coach Aden Durde, who became the first overseas coach to win the NFL's biggest game.

Durde, the 46-year-old defensive coordinator for Seattle, has been instrumental in developing what is considered the NFL's most formidable defense, nicknamed 'the Dark Side'. This defense demonstrated its dominance on the grand stage in Santa Clara, California.

New England's quarterback Drake Maye, in his second year and narrowly missing out on the Most Valuable Player award this season, was effectively contained by the Seahawks defense. Seattle recorded six sacks, forced three turnovers, and scored a defensive touchdown.

Seattle held a 9-0 lead at halftime. Early in the fourth quarter, Maye's first turnover led to the game's opening touchdown, scored by tight end AJ Barner.

Linebacker Uchenna Nwosu contributed significantly by returning an interception for a 45-yard touchdown. Additionally, kicker Jason Meyers set a record by successfully converting five field goals during the game.
