Coventry City will secure promotion to the Premier League if they earn at least one point in their upcoming match away to Blackburn Rovers on Friday.
The Championship leaders participated in the initial nine seasons of the Premier League but have not achieved promotion to the top tier since the league's rebranding in 1992.
