Hull City Owner Promises Legal Action if Play-Off Final Result Is Unfavorable

Acun Ilicali, owner of Hull City, has declared his intention to pursue legal measures should the Tigers fail to secure victory in Saturday's Championship play-off final against Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough, who were initially defeated by Southampton in the semi-final, were reinstated after Southampton admitted to spying on Middlesbrough's training session, leading to Southampton's expulsion from the competition.

Speaking to BBC Radio Humberside outside Wembley Stadium prior to the final kick-off, Ilicali stated:

"Our legal team says that we have to go for action, that's for sure,"
"So we have no doubt about it. Here, all we want is justice. If justice is broken, nobody will enjoy football."
