Hearts Aim to Finalize Calvin Miller Transfer
Heart of Midlothian are optimistic about completing the acquisition of Falkirk winger Calvin Miller within the next 48 hours.
The Tynecastle club have been engaged in negotiations with their Scottish Premiership counterparts and are close to reaching an agreement for the 28-year-old player, who was previously linked with a move to Celtic earlier this season.
Miller, currently under contract until next summer, contributed nine goals in 47 appearances as he played a key role in helping Falkirk secure a sixth-place finish in their first season back in the top flight.
The former Scotland youth international winger was instrumental in Falkirk's consecutive promotions from League 1 to the Premiership.
He began his professional career with Celtic and has since played for Dundee, Ayr United, Greenock Morton, as well as having spells at Harrogate Town, Notts County, and Chesterfield.
Hearts have already bolstered their squad with the signing of winger Josh McPake, whose contract with St Johnstone has expired, alongside Lincoln City centre-back MJ Kamson-Kamara and Versailles midfielder Tom Renaud.
In related transfer activity, Falkirk recently secured 18-year-old winger Paul McGovern from Glenavon on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
