Casemiro Compares Bale and Ronaldo
Gareth Bale (left) and Casemiro (right) both spent nine years at Real Madrid before departing in 2022.
Manchester United's former Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest footballer he has played alongside, but he considers Gareth Bale to be the "most complete" player.
Casemiro, 34, won five Champions League titles during his nine successful years at Real Madrid and has spent the last four years playing for Manchester United.
The 84-cap Brazil international praised Wales legend Bale as the finest all-round player he has teamed up with.
"Cristiano scores a minimum 15 goals [every season] but Bale is attack, defend, heads, scores," Casemiro told the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast.
"Cristiano is the best, he's in another world. Take Cristiano out of the conversation. But for me Bale is the best, more complete player.
"Everything he does [is] very good. Very quick. Too strong. For me Bale is unbelievable."
Career Achievements
During his career at Real Madrid, Casemiro played alongside numerous star players and secured three Club World Cups, three La Liga titles, a Copa del Rey, three Spanish Super Cups, and three UEFA Super Cups.
At Manchester United, he has won an FA Cup and an EFL Cup, and he has represented Brazil in two World Cups.
Like Bale, Casemiro's tenure at Real Madrid spanned from 2013 to 2022.
