Elfyn Evans Secures Third Rally Sweden Victory
Elfyn Evans expressed satisfaction with his performance after the rally, stating he was "happy with the time in the end and happy with the result."
Evans has won Rally Sweden for the third time on Sunday in snowy conditions, taking the lead in the World Rally Championship by 13 points after two rounds.
Together with his co-driver Scott Martin, he won the rally by 14.3 seconds over 18 stages, covering a total of 300 kilometers.
This marks Evans' second consecutive year winning Rally Sweden, during which he led for the majority of the four-day competition.
Challenges and Reflections
Evans, 37, commented on the difficulty of the event, particularly regarding tire management.
"I'm quite happy and feel relieved now," said Elfyn Evans.
"It was tough with all the tire management, but I'm happy with the time in the end and happy with the result."
