Cardiff Devils' chances of securing the Elite League title have been dealt a setback following a 5-3 defeat to Glasgow Clan at the Braehead Arena.
Joey Martin contributed two goals for the Devils, including the opening goal of the match, while Steven MacLean also scored for the Welsh team.
Despite initially trailing, Glasgow Clan gained momentum and dominated the game with goals from Brady Risk, Chris McKay, Felix Pare, and Tristin Langan. Mick Messner added a decisive goal in the third period to secure the victory for the hosts.
This loss marks the fourth defeat in six games for Cardiff Devils, who still have nine matches remaining this season. The team is scheduled to return to action with a home game against the Nottingham Panthers on Sunday.
