Jeremiah Azu Narrowly Misses Medal in Men's 60m Final
Defending champion Jeremiah Azu narrowly missed out on a medal in the men's 60m final at the World Athletics Indoor Championships held in Torun, Poland.

The 24-year-old faced strong competition as he aimed to defend his title but demonstrated his medal potential by improving his personal best to 6.45 seconds in the semi-finals. This performance elevated him to second place on the British all-time list, behind Dwain Chambers.
American Jordan Anthony, who entered the championships as the fastest man of the year, improved his time to 6.41 seconds to claim victory ahead of Jamaica's Olympic and world 100m silver medallist Kishane Thompson.
Both Thompson and American Trayvon Bromell recorded times of 6.45 seconds to complete the podium, leaving Azu just outside the medals in a thrilling conclusion to the opening day of competition.
