Trial Scheduled for Men Charged in Aberdeen Killing
Two men are set to face trial after being charged with the robbery and killing of another man in Aberdeen.
Shaun Lerche, aged 35, and Scott Adams, aged 47, are alleged to have attacked Austin Ironside on Skene Street on 3 August of the previous year.

According to the charges, a knife was shown to the 25-year-old victim before he was restrained by the accused. The two men are further accused of striking him on the head with a bottle and robbing him of possessions, including money.
The victim reportedly sustained injuries so severe that he died two days later while hospitalized. A trial date has been set for the following year.
Additional Charges and Court Proceedings
In addition to the charge of culpable homicide, Shaun Lerche faces two separate allegations of shoplifting.
The case proceeded with a preliminary hearing at the High Court in Glasgow, during which both defendants entered pleas of not guilty.
Prosecutor Leanne McQuillian stated:
"A trial for May 2027 is suitable for the Crown and that is in Glasgow."
Judge Douglas Brown scheduled the trial for May 2027, noting that the proceedings could last approximately seven days.
