Three Pedestrians Seriously Injured in Nottinghamshire

Three pedestrians have been hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Nottinghamshire.

Emergency services were dispatched to Linby Lane, near Hucknall, at approximately 21:00 BST on Friday.

Nottinghamshire Police reported that a man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in connection with the incident.

Michelle Welsh, MP for Sherwood Forest, described the event as an "awful incident" and expressed her sympathy for those affected.

"It was an awful incident," said Michelle Welsh, MP for Sherwood Forest. "My thoughts are with those affected."

Linby Lane remains closed between Moor Road and Wighay Road as investigations continue.
