Arrests Made Following Fatal Incident Outside Cocktail Bar

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died outside a cocktail bar located in a seaside resort.

Dorset Police reported that officers responded to calls about an assault outside MyBar on Charminster Road in Bournemouth at approximately 03:00 BST.

The victim, a man in his 40s from Christchurch, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have informed his next of kin.

The suspects taken into custody are aged 37 and 46 from Bournemouth, and 34 from Poole. Police are requesting witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward to assist with the investigation.

"Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly died and a detailed investigation is underway to establish what happened,"
said Detective Chief Inspector Nicky Jenkins of Dorset Police's Major Crime Investigation Team.

The police force also stated that an extensive cordon remains in place, with officers expected to maintain a presence in the area over the coming days while vital work at the scene is conducted.

Dorset Police said members of the public would see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days.
