Teenagers Found Guilty of Murdering Kayden Moy

Two teenagers have been convicted of murdering a 16-year-old boy on a beach in Ayrshire last year.

Jay Stewart, 18, and a 15-year-old, whose identity is protected for legal reasons, fatally stabbed Kayden Moy on Irvine Beach on 17 May 2025.

A third teenager, 18-year-old Cole Turley, had already pleaded guilty to the murder prior to the trial commencing at the High Court in Glasgow.

All three teenagers were affiliated with the Murray Boys gang based in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, while Kayden Moy was a member of the rival Himshie group.
