James Holder Sentenced for Rape
James Holder, co-founder of Superdry, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for rape.
The 54-year-old, from Cheltenham, committed the assault in May 2022 after a night out, attacking the woman in her flat.
During the sentencing at Bristol Crown Court, Recorder David Chidgey described Holder's actions as a
"despicable piece of sexual violence".
In a statement read aloud in court, Holder's victim expressed the impact of the crime, stating that he had taken her
"choice, dignity and body".
