Second Fatality Confirmed After Four-Vehicle Crash on A82 in Highlands

A second person has died following a four-vehicle crash on the A82 at Glen Gloy, Lochaber, on 6 July. The Range Rover driver died at the scene; his passenger later died in hospital. Investigations continue.

Second Fatality Confirmed in A82 Crash Near Spean Bridge

A second individual has died following a collision involving four vehicles on the A82 at Glen Gloy in Lochaber earlier this month.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:00 on Monday, 6 July, and involved a Skoda Karoq, a Range Rover Sport, a Hyundai i10, and a lorry.

The 62-year-old male driver of the Range Rover Sport was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 62-year-old woman, was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but has since succumbed to her injuries.

No other individuals required hospital treatment.

Sgt Ewan Calder said: "Our inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash.

I am again appealing to anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision to contact us, external.

Likewise, if you have dashcam, please check your footage for anything which could assist our investigation."
