Cannabis Cultivation Discovered in Dundee

Authorities have uncovered a cannabis cultivation operation in Dundee with an estimated street value of up to £850,000.

Police reported that officers, acting on a tip-off, conducted raids on properties located on Albert Street around 10:00 AM on Tuesday.

During the operation, more than 1,000 cannabis plants were seized.

Investigations are ongoing as detectives work to identify and locate those responsible for the cultivation.

Police Statement on the Operation

Detective Sergeant David Feeney commented on the significance of the seizure and the police's commitment to tackling serious crime.

"This was a significant recovery which demonstrates our continued commitment to the serious and organised crime taskforce and the country's serious and organised crime strategy.
We remain determined to disrupt those involved in the sale and supply of illegal drugs in our communities."
