Police Identify Motorcyclist Who Died in Dunmurry Crash

Motorcyclist Dies in Single-Vehicle Collision in Dunmurry

A motorcyclist in his 50s has died following a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Dunmurry, located on the outskirts of Belfast.

The incident occurred on Queensway at approximately 07:30 GMT on Sunday.

Detective Inspector Stewart from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's (PSNI) collision investigation unit stated:

"Officers attended alongside colleagues from other emergency services. Sadly, the rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved."

Roads surrounding Queensway were closed for several hours but have since reopened.

The police have requested that anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses dash-cam footage come forward and contact them.
