Police Appeal for Information After Petrol Bomb Attack

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has characterized a petrol bomb attack on a residence in Coalisland, County Tyrone, as "reckless." The incident occurred in Pinebank Gardens, with police receiving a report shortly after 03:30 BST on Saturday that two petrol bombs had been thrown at the property.

Responding officers, alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene promptly. The occupant of the house was able to extinguish the fire caused by the attack, and fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

"Officers attended the scene, together with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service," said Det Insp Winters.
"The occupant of the property managed to extinguish the fire, and thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries."

The PSNI has stated that their investigations are ongoing and has urged anyone with information related to the attack to come forward and contact the police.
