Incident at Shuttleworth Air Show
A pilot was taken to hospital following an incident involving an aircraft at the Wings and Wheels Air Show held at Shuttleworth, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, on Saturday evening.
Shuttleworth reported that the incident occurred on the south end of the airfield and involved an Avro Triplane IV replica aircraft with only the pilot onboard.
The pilot was "extracted" from the scene and gave a "thumbs up" before being transported to hospital. He has since been discharged from medical care.

Emergency Response and Rescue Efforts
Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a small aircraft lodged in a tree in Old Warden Park at approximately 20:13 BST.
The service stated that the pilot was flying a wooden plane and became stuck about 15 meters (49 feet) up in a tree.
Matthew Ockenden, station commander, said: "This was a challenging rescue crews had to carry out in the dark, factoring in a number of complexities."
Fire crews remained on site until shortly before 01:00 on Sunday to complete the rescue operation.
Event Details and Site Status
Shuttleworth has been producing air shows for 60 years and the site also includes a museum. The Wings and Wheels Air Show was scheduled to run from 09:00 to 21:00, featuring two flying displays during the day.
In an official statement, Shuttleworth said:
"The initial response to this incident has now ended. The pilot in question has been discharged from medical care and returned home in good spirits.
Due to the operational logistics involved in resetting the site, Shuttleworth will remain closed today."
