Partial M1 Closure Following Serious Collision
Emergency services responded to a serious two-car crash on a northbound section of the M1 motorway in Leicestershire on Sunday morning.
National Highways confirmed that the northbound carriageway between junctions 20 and 21 was closed due to the incident.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene along with other emergency services, according to the highways authority.
Traffic that had been held within the closure was eventually released, and a diversion route has been established to manage the flow of vehicles.
