Crash on A82 Near Falls of Falloch
A motorbike rider is in serious condition in hospital following a collision with a car on the A82 near the Falls of Falloch, outside Crianlarich.
Emergency services responded to the incident involving a green Mini Cooper and a black Yamaha Tracer at approximately 13:25 on Tuesday.
Details of Injuries and Arrest
The male rider of the Yamaha sustained serious injuries. Two passengers in the Mini Cooper were also taken to hospital but have since been discharged.
The 47-year-old male driver of the Mini Cooper was arrested and charged in connection with a road traffic offence. He was subsequently released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
Road Closure and Investigation
The road was closed following the collision and reopened at about 22:30 on Tuesday.
Insp David Marr stated:
"Inquiries remain ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us, external.
"We'd also ask anyone with dash-cam footage which could assist our inquiries to come forward."
