Hospital Order Issued for Man Convicted of Stalking Myleene Klass
A man found guilty of stalking TV and radio presenter Myleene Klass, after sending her personal items including an air pistol and handcuffs, has been placed under a hospital order.
Peter Windsor, 61, from Birmingham, was convicted at trial of two counts of stalking causing "serious alarm or distress" related to Ms Klass and fellow Classic FM presenter Katie Breathwick between 2020 and 2024.
Birmingham Crown Court heard that Windsor sent numerous unwanted gifts to the women at Classic FM's central London studios. These included instructions on how to write a will, binoculars, a police uniform, and dozens of letters.
Some of the items were addressed exclusively to Ms Klass, some solely to Ms Breathwick, and others to both presenters.
Windsor, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, denied the charges but was found guilty by unanimous verdicts following a trial in October of the previous year.
