Murder Arrest Following Discovery of Woman at Horncastle Property

A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found unconscious at a property in Horncastle, according to police.

Lincolnshire Police reported receiving information that a 27-year-old woman had sustained serious injuries at a residence on Warwickshires Way at approximately 16:20 BST on Thursday.

Officers responded to the scene where the woman was subsequently pronounced dead.

Authorities indicated that they currently believe there are "no outstanding suspects at this time."

The police force confirmed that a continued police presence would remain in the area as investigations proceed to determine the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy McWatt stated:

"We are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything - no matter how insignificant it may seem - to contact us.
Any piece of information could prove vital in helping us piece together exactly what happened and in securing justice for the victim."
