Arrest Made in Connection with Glasgow Woman's Death
A man has been arrested in relation to the death of an 82-year-old woman who was found fatally injured on a street in Glasgow during the weekend.
Elizabeth Colligan was discovered on Cardowan Road in the Carntyne area of the city at approximately 04:00 on Saturday morning and later succumbed to her injuries.

Details of the Arrest and Investigation
Police confirmed that a 30-year-old man, whom BBC Scotland understands to be her grandson, Grant McKinnon, was apprehended in the Glasgow area. Authorities have stated that investigations are ongoing.
Prior to the arrest, detectives had issued a renewed appeal seeking information on sightings of McKinnon, emphasizing that they believed he possessed "vital information" regarding the circumstances of the death.
Community Response and Tributes
Images circulated on social media depict several police officers in the Cardowan Road vicinity escorting a man to a police van.
