Man Arrested for Murder After Fatal Incident Outside South Wales Pub

A 30-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested on suspicion of murder after a 37-year-old man from Tredegar died following an incident outside a pub in south Wales.

Arrest Following Fatal Incident Outside Pub

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 37-year-old man died following an incident outside a pub in south Wales.

Gwent Police reported that the victim, who was from Tredegar, had been in a life-threatening condition in hospital after an assault was reported in Ebbw Vale on Friday night.

Officers responded to reports at The Picture House on Bethcar Street between 23:30 GMT on Friday and 00:15 on Saturday.

The suspect, a 30-year-old man from Cardiff, was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and has now been re-arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody.

Police stated that their investigation is ongoing and have appealed for further information.
