West Midlands Metro Services Suspended Due to Power Failure

West Midlands Metro services operating across Birmingham, the Black Country, and Wolverhampton have been suspended following a "major power failure."

The operator reported that, due to the power issues, it was unable to make announcements at stops or display information on its boards.

During the outage investigation, tickets and passes for the Metro are being accepted on National Express buses and West Midlands Trains.

The tram network covers four zones, running between Edgbaston Village, Wolverhampton railway station, and St George's.
