Visit to Ards Allotments
The King is visiting Ards Allotments, an initiative founded by Maurice Patton after the latter was inspired by seeing an allotment featured on the news more than 20 years ago.
During his visit, King Charles is meeting with the community of volunteers, gardeners, and growers who utilize the allotment space to cultivate fresh produce and foster social connections.

Both King Charles and Queen Camilla were present in County Down on Wednesday. The Queen engaged with local businesses in Hillsborough, while the King traveled to the seaside town of Newcastle.
