Police Investigate Assault on Elderly Dog Walker in Dundee

Authorities are conducting an investigation following an attack on a 78-year-old man who was walking his dog in the Stobswell area of Dundee.

The incident occurred at approximately 21:20 on Friday, 20 March, on Langlands Street. The assailants, described as four males wearing hooded tops and dark clothing, were observed moving towards Albert Street after the assault.

Ongoing Inquiries and Appeal for Information

Local area commander Chief Inspector Colin Echevarria confirmed that extensive inquiries are currently underway to identify and locate those responsible.

"We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information, to come forward."

Police have also issued a request for any available CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell camera footage that may assist in the investigation.
