Fatal Stabbing Outside Peckham Nightclub

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a stabbing incident outside a nightclub in south-east London, which resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man and left two others injured.

The Metropolitan Police reported that officers responded at 3:54 am on Monday to a disturbance involving a group of individuals outside a nightclub located on Ruby Street, Peckham.

Upon arrival, officers and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service discovered a 26-year-old man suffering from stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police confirmed that the victim's next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

Additionally, two other men in their twenties were found injured at the location. Both remain hospitalized in life-threatening conditions.

Arrests and Investigation

Later on Monday, four men—one aged 18 and three aged 24—were arrested on suspicion of murder and continue to be held in custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil John, leading the Metropolitan Police investigation, stated:

“This is a deeply tragic incident, and our thoughts are with the victim’s family during this difficult time.
We have already arrested four men and our investigation continues at pace. We are aware of the concern that this will cause the local community and those in the area will notice an increased police presence throughout the day.
This assault occurred outside a busy nightclub, and we’d encourage anyone who has any information, dashcam or mobile phone footage which could support the investigation to contact us.”

Appeal for Information

Authorities are urging anyone with information or footage related to the incident to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting CAD 1033/6APR. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
