Family Identified After Fatal Fall from South London High-Rise

A family of three who died after falling from a high-rise block in south London have been named as Aditi Vijay Paralkar, Rakesh Narayan Pai, and their son Sid Pai Paralkar. Police continue to investigate the incident that occurred on 27 May in Elephant and Castle.

Family Identified Following Fatal Fall in Elephant and Castle

A family of three who died after falling from a high-rise block of flats in south London have been named.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson stated that although the family members have not been formally identified, they have been named as Aditi Vijay Paralkar, 46, Rakesh Narayan Pai, 47, and their son Sid Pai Paralkar, 9.

Emergency services were called to Churchyard Row in Elephant and Castle at approximately 07:30 BST on 27 May following reports of individuals falling from a height.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, London's Air Ambulance, and the London Fire Brigade.

Police Statement and Appeal for Information

"Our thoughts remain with Aditi, Rakesh and Sid's family and loved ones while we work at pace to establish the facts surrounding these tragic deaths.
We are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances and would encourage members of the public and the press to refrain from speculation."

These remarks were made by Acting Detective Superintendent Dan Whitten, who also appealed for anyone with information to contact the police.
