Driver Identified Following Bedford Train Collision
The driver who lost his life in the Bedford train crash has been identified as Shaun Burton. His family has expressed that they are "devastated" by his passing.
British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed that the 60-year-old died as a result of the collision that occurred on Friday.

In a statement honoring Shaun Burton, his family said:
"We are devastated by his loss. Our thoughts are also with those affected by this incident."
BTP also extended their sympathies, stating that their thoughts remain with the man's family and his colleagues at East Midlands Railway.
