During an online Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Reddit, a user inquired whether he intended to call an election.

Burnham, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Makerfield, is currently the only candidate vying to succeed Sir Keir Starmer as the leader of the Labour Party. He could officially become prime minister on 20 July.
