Asylum Seeker Sentenced for Abduction and Rape
An asylum seeker, Ahmad Mulakhil, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for abducting and raping a 12-year-old girl.

Conviction Details
Last month, a jury found the 23-year-old Afghan national guilty of multiple charges, including rape, abduction, sexual assault, and taking an indecent video.
Prior to the trial at Warwick Crown Court in February, Mulakhil pleaded guilty to a count of rape of a child under 13.
