Teen Admits to Arson at Kenton United Synagogue
A 17-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to arson not endangering life following an attack on Kenton United Synagogue in north-west London on Saturday night.
A bottle containing a type of accelerant was thrown through the window of the building located on Shaftesbury Avenue, Kenton. The incident caused minor damage to the synagogue, and no injuries were reported.
The boy, a British national from Brent who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested by the Metropolitan Police on Sunday and charged on Monday.
A 19-year-old man who was also arrested in connection with the attack has been released on bail pending further inquiries, the police confirmed.
