Fatal Collision in County Donegal

Two teenagers lost their lives in a collision involving a car and a lorry in County Donegal, close to the Irish border.

Gardaí reported that the crash occurred in the village of St Johnston, approximately eight miles from Londonderry, at 23:15 local time on Tuesday.

The passenger of the car, a male in his late teens, died at the scene. Another passenger, also in his late teens, was transported to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, who is similarly in his late teens, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast for treatment.
