Three dead and man in custody in Sydney
A third victim has died and a man is in police custody following an incident at a home in Sydney’s south-west, according to AAP.
New South Wales police responded to a disturbance call at a residence in Rosemeadow on Sunday at approximately 1:30am.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 64-year-old man with serious head injuries, alongside the bodies of a woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s.
The injured man was treated by NSW ambulance paramedics and at Liverpool hospital but subsequently passed away.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been formally confirmed.
Police have indicated that the victims "were assaulted by a man known to them" and are treating the case as an alleged domestic violence incident.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Campbelltown police station for questioning.
Authorities have established a crime scene and are preparing a report for the coroner.
