Incident Details

Quentin Griffiths, the co-founder of the online fashion retailer Asos, was identified by Thai police as the individual who died after falling from a building on 9 February 2026 in Pattaya, a seaside town in eastern Thailand.

Authorities responded last Monday night following a report that a man had fallen from an 18-floor condominium and was discovered deceased on the ground below, according to a police investigator who spoke with the BBC.

The investigator stated that Griffiths, who held a British passport, was alone at the time. His room was locked from the inside, and there was no evidence of forced entry. An autopsy found no signs of foul play.
