Princess Catherine Reunites with Family Post Three Peaks Challenge
Catherine, Princess of Wales, has shared new photographs depicting her reunion with her family following her completion of the Three Peaks Challenge. The event was undertaken to support the hospital where she received cancer treatment.
In the images, Catherine is seen with her children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—as well as her husband, the Prince of Wales, after they climbed Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in north Wales last week.

The princess had previously described the challenge, which entails climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours, as an opportunity to "explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back."
She disclosed that she underwent cancer treatment in 2024 and announced she was in remission at the beginning of 2025.
The photos released on social media on Sunday also feature her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, her brother James, and a golden retriever.
The accompanying post expressed gratitude:
"A huge thank you to everybody who has supported The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity."
Family Support and Reflections on the Challenge
Eleven-year-old Princess Charlotte was pictured alongside her mother during the reunion.
Catherine's brother, James Middleton, posted on Instagram expressing his pride in his sister and described it as an "honour" to have completed the challenge with her.
"Two years ago, I told you we'd climb this mountain together," he wrote. "We talked about climbing mountains while you were in hospital, and about the incredible healing power that nature can have for both the body and the mind."
"Seeing how far you've come is nothing short of inspiring. Your strength, resilience, and determination, all while being the most amazing mother, wife, daughter, and sister, inspire me and so many others every single day."
Tribute to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity
Upon completing the challenge, the princess paid tribute to the charity, describing it as "a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life changing for so many people."
Catherine successfully summited England's Scafell Pike, Scotland's Ben Nevis, and concluded with Yr Wyddfa, where the family reunion took place.

She was accompanied by her mother, father, and brother during the event.
Following the challenge, Catherine emphasized her desire to "raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare."
"Every individual is different, and ensuring there is a whole person approach to care enables those living through cancer to manage the deeply personal challenge of diagnosis."
The Royal Marsden Hospital defines holistic care as "supporting the whole person - integrating physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing alongside clinical care."

Prince William was also present to welcome Catherine after she completed the challenge.

Prince George, aged 12, was part of the group greeting her.
Princess Catherine's Cancer Journey
When Catherine announced her cancer diagnosis, she described it as a "huge shock" and recounted experiencing an "incredibly tough couple of months."
Specific details of her cancer were not disclosed; however, Kensington Palace expressed confidence in her full recovery at the time.
Approximately a year later, upon announcing her remission, she conveyed her "relief" and has since resumed her royal duties.
Fundraising Efforts
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity established a fundraising page for the princess's walk, stating that it would "support more people with cancer to benefit from holistic care."
