Eamonn Holmes Hospitalized Following Stroke

Broadcaster Eamonn Holmes is currently in hospital after suffering a stroke, according to GB News.

The channel reported that Holmes was "taken ill last week" and it was "later confirmed he had suffered a stroke."

GB News added that he is "responding well to treatment," and expressed support for the presenter.

"Colleagues and everyone at GB News wish him a speedy recovery," the statement said.

Career and Current Role

Holmes, aged 66, has had a television career spanning several decades. He has presented programmes on and ITV before joining GB News in 2022. At GB News, he co-hosts the breakfast show alongside Ellie Costello.

The channel also announced that fellow GB News presenter Alex Armstrong will stand in for Holmes during the upcoming week.
