Harry Styles Breaks Wembley Stadium Record
Harry Styles has completed a record-breaking residency at Wembley Stadium, performing 12 sold-out shows. This achievement surpasses previous records held by Coldplay and Taylor Swift, making Styles the artist with the most concerts performed at Wembley during a single year and the solo artist with the longest concert run at the venue.
Styles, aged 32, began the London leg of his Together, Together tour on 12 June, concluding with the final show on Saturday.
During his last performance, he paid tribute to his former One Direction bandmates, acknowledging their significant role in his career journey.
Originally planned for six nights, the Wembley residency was extended due to overwhelming demand.
This record exceeds Coldplay's 10-night run last summer and Taylor Swift's eight nights at Wembley in 2024.
Speaking to an audience of approximately 80,000 at the final concert on Saturday, Styles reflected on his time with One Direction.
"I wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey,"
"I wanna thank Niall, Louis, Zayn and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything… none of this would be possible, I wouldn't be here without you, thank you so much."
One Direction was formed in 2010 on the TV talent show The X Factor and went on an indefinite hiatus in 2016. Bandmate Liam Payne passed away in 2024 at the age of 31.
Many fans reported being stuck in queues when tickets for Styles' Wembley run were initially released.

About 80,000 fans attended the concert on Saturday night.

Reflection on Career and Connection to Wembley
Styles also took a moment during the show to reflect on his career, marking 16 years since The X Factor was filmed at Wembley.
"16 years ago… just outside of this building, just next door… I was put into a band that changed my life."
"As I drive through this area, I'm flooded with memories from that time.
And every time I have the privilege of returning to Wembley, it's meant an incredibly great deal to me. Thank you so much."
Launching his solo career in 2017, Styles has since earned six Brit Awards, three Grammy Awards, and two Ivor Novello Awards. His fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, was released in January.
Commemoration and Future Tour Dates
Prior to Saturday night's concert, Wembley Stadium unveiled a commemorative banner honoring Styles' record.
In a post on X, Wembley stated:
"12 shows. One record. A place in Wembley history."
Following the London residency, Styles' tour will continue in Brazil, Mexico, and the United States before concluding in Australia in December.
