Delorean Owners Gather to Mark 45th Anniversary

Owners of the Delorean car, famously featured in the 1985 film Back to the Future, convened at Stormont to commemorate the 45-year anniversary of the vehicle.

The Delorean was manufactured in Dunmurry during the 1970s and was designed by American engineer John DeLorean.

David Abraham, one of the event organisers, highlighted the car's significance, stating:

"The car has a special place in peoples' heart because it brought hope in a time of no hope during Troubles".

The event attracted nearly 150 Delorean cars.

Abraham, who is also a Delorean owner, noted that attendees had travelled from as far away as Japan. He described the community of Delorean owners as:

"not just friends, but brothers".
