New Birthday Photo Released for Prince Louis
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a new photograph to celebrate Prince Louis' eighth birthday, featuring their youngest son during a family holiday in Cornwall.
In the image, the prince is smiling and dressed in a blue zip-up jumper, with his arms folded while aboard a boat, the sea visible in the background.
The photo was posted on the royal social media accounts by Prince William and Catherine, accompanied by the message:
"Happy birthday, Louis! 8 today!" 🎈
The photograph was taken earlier this month by photographer Matt Porteous.
Photographer's Previous Royal Work
Matt Porteous has previously received royal commissions from Prince William and Catherine, including capturing behind-the-scenes moments from Prince Louis' christening.
He also photographed Prince George on his third and fifth birthdays, as well as the Wales family's Christmas card for 2022.
About Prince Louis
Prince Louis Arthur Charles, known formally as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Wales, was born at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington on 23 April 2018.
He is the third child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, following Prince George, aged 12, and Princess Charlotte, aged 10, and is fourth in the line of succession to the British throne.
Recognized for his playful behavior, Prince Louis rarely attends royal engagements with his parents but is often present at significant occasions such as the annual Trooping the Colour Parade and Easter Sunday services.
