US President Trump to Visit China with Top Business Leaders
US President Donald Trump is scheduled to be accompanied by a group of prominent business and technology executives during his official visit to China this week.
Key figures expected to join the president in Beijing include Tim Cook, CEO of Apple; Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX; Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock; along with other senior executives from companies such as Meta, Visa, JP Morgan, Boeing, and Cargill.
A total of 17 US business leaders will be part of the delegation, according to a White House official familiar with the arrangements who spoke to the BBC.
The trip holds significant importance for the United States as President Trump is set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping amid escalating economic and technological tensions between the two nations.
