Amazon Expands Ultra-Fast Delivery Services Across UK Cities

Amazon is broadening its ultra-fast delivery offerings in the United Kingdom, including the introduction of fresh fruit and vegetables to its same-day delivery services. The company announced plans to extend its Now service, which currently delivers goods in under 30 minutes to parts of London, to Manchester and Birmingham within the year.

Additionally, Amazon will expand same-day delivery options to Ipswich and Coventry. In London, customers will soon be able to include fresh groceries in their same-day orders, a service previously trialled in the United States.

Fresh Groceries Integration and Service Expansion

Customers will have the ability to add a variety of fresh products such as fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, bread, eggs, and frozen foods to their shopping baskets. These can be combined with other grocery items like tins and packets, as well as a wide range of products from fashion to DIY supplies.

This fresh grocery service will initially be available in select areas of central and east London, with plans to expand to more postcodes and regions across the UK in the coming months.
