Bad Bunny Joins Toy Story 5 Cast
Singer, rapper, and actor Bad Bunny is lending his voice to the upcoming Toy Story 5, portraying a forgotten toy named Pizza With Sunglasses.
Disney described the Puerto Rican artist's character as "effortlessly cool and mysterious," and noted he is part of "a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed."
Joining Bad Bunny in the new film is Scottish actor Alan Cumming, who will voice an evil version of Bullseye, Woody's loyal horse, Disney announced.
Cumming and Bad Bunny—whose birth name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—join a star-studded returning cast including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack.
The fifth installment of the popular animated franchise is scheduled for release on 19 June. The final trailer was unveiled on Tuesday.
About Toy Story 5
The Toy Story series, which began in 1995, is set in a world where toys come to life when humans are not present.
In this latest film, the well-known toys, led by Buzz Lightyear and a now balding Woody, unite to protect their owner Bonnie from a new challenge—her smart tablet Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee.
Bad Bunny's Career Highlights
Bad Bunny's involvement in Toy Story 5 marks another milestone in a remarkable year for the artist, who has been dubbed the King of Latin Trap.
He headlined the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show and made history by winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year with a primarily Spanish-language album.
The album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos (I Should've Taken More Photos), also helped him become Spotify's most streamed artist worldwide.
Film Roles and Upcoming Projects
Bad Bunny has expanded his career into acting with several notable roles. Last year, he appeared as the cold-blooded gangster Colorado in the crime thriller Caught Stealing, alongside Austin Butler, Regina King, and Zoë Kravitz. He also played Oscar, the eccentric golf caddie, in Adam Sandler's comedy sequel Happy Gilmore 2.
Previously, he portrayed Wolf in the 2022 action-comedy Bullet Train, directed by David Leitch and starring Brad Pitt.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Bad Bunny will take on his first lead acting role in Porto Rico, starring opposite Javier Bardem and Edward Norton.
The film is described as a love letter to the 32-year-old artist's homeland of Puerto Rico and is partly based on the life of José Maldonado Román, a revolutionary figure from the late 19th and early 20th centuries known as White Eagle.
Additional Endeavors
In addition to his music and acting career, Bad Bunny is reportedly considering a return to the WWE wrestling ring.
